peoriapeoriawhereart: Pre-Serum Steve Rogers, shirt and suspenders (Sad Steve)
Thanks for making it clear which notations were from which props/tie-ins:especially distinguishing the anemia vs pernicious anemia.

My father was born before the end of the war, and he was as a child considered too delicate to learn to swim. He was after high school inducted into the Army despite that (and drinking too many bottles of soda while waiting for his medical).

I do get knocked out when someone is trying to write historical Pre-Serum Steve and they use Modern Medical America during an asthma attack. More interesting have been a few (couple, one?) stories where the Serum fails and Steve can confront his issues with food, warm clothes, inhalers and not having the stress of trying to make rent and not die. (From non-supervillian reasons.)
